I finally got my order of TAP 5.56 today and the prick UPS guy left it in the rain where it stayed for the last 7 hours! It was even sent 18 or older signiture only and he just left it in front of my door for all to see! What do I do now? Wait and pray? Does ammo generally survive rain if it is given enough timee to dry?

Are the boxes wet? Open one up, are the rounds wet? I don't know if TAP ammo is sealed or not, probably not.

A few years back UPS left two cases (1,000 rds) of Federal near my porch. In the rain. the carton was saturated. The individual boxes were soaked and water damaged. Of course, the rounds were wet, but it's sealed ammo. I did extract the ammo and dry it. You should have seen my kitchen table!

No problems at all with the ammo.

I'm betting if they were not submerged that they will be okay. But I'd still make mention of it.

Keep the box and file a claim with UPS if the ammo is bad. Good luck hinking.gif

I ain't no expert, but...

My sense is that unless the ammo was submerged for a while,

just dry it off and blam away a few rounds to check it.

Summa da UPS delivery guys are real ****heads!

TAP is expensive,  just ask your seller to file a freight claim and get it replaced. (shipper has to do the freight claim with UPS)
