I think CDNN has the 180gr and 155gr Ranger SXT .40 S&W for around $13 per box of 50.

While good ammo, Ranger SXT is different than Ranger T.

Anyone actually order the Ranger "T"  for that price?  Curious if it would actually ship.  I ordered two cases of Guat today.  Good price, no shipping.

Nice!

Cool ... what's the diff?  Always thought they were the same round (i.e. that SXT was the PC name for the old black Talon).

Shame you didn't just pick up the phone and call them...

Price is good through the end of the month.

In short:

Supreme SXT - crap ammo

Ranger SXT - Black Talon bullet minus the black. 3rd generation bullet.

Ranger T - 4th gen bullet, enhanced performance in clothing/barriers than previous designs.

Read the thread on "Better Performing Self Defense Loads" for lots of good info on the subject.

Many thanks.  I have some of the Ranger SXT (from CDNN) but will look into that Ranger T ammo.

Had a mediocre experience with Century a few years back.  Ther was a bit of a mix up on the order, and they didn't reaaly seem to care much about it.

Thought I'd give them a try, as ammo costs/supplies are making me nervous.  They were friendly as hell on the phone today.  $229 per case with free shipping over $500 is hard to beat.

The delivery driver will get a workout sometime in the next week or so!

That's all I did, call them.  Thought I'd have to haggle them and go on about seeing the price listed on a gun board, but he told me the $229 price right away.
