I've got about 1200 rounds of this stuff.

What's it worth ?

Might want to sell off a few hundred.

I guess it's worth whatever LC M855 is bringing recently.  I think that might be in the ammo price thingy tacked at the top of this forum.

If it is boxed first tier IMI ammo, it is worth more.

I see you are minding your manners despite your issue with my statement.

But, we all know how you can...

Well I thought that one of our team members/dealers had some M855 for sale.  Not the X or PD, but regular run M855.  I would guess whatever he was asking would be about fair.

I can't even think of who it was cuz personally I don't like M855 ammo.

It si boxed in the brown 30 round boxes.

i've got quite a bit of M855 winchester/olin

i'd be willing to pay .18 to .22 per round depending on it's condition.

I have 1440 rounds total.
I was thinking of selling 600 rounds @ .25 ea

Is this fair? it is sealed boxes.

Unless you need (or want) the money for something else, I'd keep the ammo.

Yes, it is a good price.  Usually the best you can do as a buyer with boxed IMI M855, if you can find it these days, is about $0.30 per round.  I have seen higher, but that was about the average before it seemingly disappeared.

I'd say it is worth $350.

I would assume he means for the 1,200 rounds.  About right, since it is all dried up for now.  Probably could get more, though.  And, somehow (the war(s), I doubt it will be back any time soon.

Keep it as an investment. The price will only go up. If the UN has its way, you won't get that ammo anymore.

I 110% agree.  I have about 2,000 boxed rounds that I will keep for a very long time.

I have 4 /1200 rd cases of IMI M855,paid $252 shipped each back in 2001, This same ammo sold for $400 back in mid 90's , I bet its worth more than that now....this is my long term stored ammo, along with some IMI M193.
