| Hello, Long time lerker, short time poster. I live in Southern AZ where summers can be a little rough. Looking to store some ammo in a garage with no AC. I know it is not the best idea but will it cause a serious problem? Thanks for any help. |
Yeah.... plinking ammo you'll probably shoot up in the next two years is likely going to do fine..... Keep your good defense/match/SHTF ammo (should be less total volume I'm guessing than your plinking ammo stock - and you may want to keep it unfired for more than 5 years) in ammo cans in your closet or under the bed or something. Surely you can find room for a few .50 cal cans in your living space! Heck, if you're a bachelor, use them as "legs" for your plywood coffee table! P.S. its now 100F here in Dallas, and my garage is 5 degrees more. |
