[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Head stamp Help?

Hey guys,

Head stamp L C 6 9 is stamped around the primer, I am assuming Lake City, but the 6 9? Any help? Found an old bag of ammo last night I never even knew I had, looks real nice and shiney but I would rather know what it is before it gets loaded.

LC 69 is Lake City 69

Safe to shoot you think? Looks real nice, but I guess it's pretty old. Like I said, I don't even know where it came from, but it was in the back of my ammo locker.

The 69 is year of manufacture. It should be safe to shoot as long as it was stored somewhat properly.
