Hey all, I have been looking for a type of ammo someone told me about. I guess the shell is mostly made out of plastic and is way cheaper than full metal casings. I'm just looking for cheap .223 to target practice with.  Anybody else heard of this?

Thanks

If it's for an AR, forget it. There are better "cheap" cartridges out there. Shoot Wolf if you want cheap plinking ammo.

Check out this link on the forum - link.

I think the general consensus is that it's crap.  Plus you can buy brass or steel cased ammo for less.  Take a good look at the guy's rifle pics.

Absolutely and 100% pure crap.  I had bullets bending the case neck prior to  feeding into the chamber, general FTF's, short stroking, etc.  It was actually scary that the bullets on a few became dislodged from the case while attempting to cycle and it spilled powder into the chamber and into the lower receciver.  I never even made it through a 20rd. box before I decided to scrap that shit.

And I was even using a Colt.
