I recieved the ammo I orderd through my department. It was supposed to be 1500 rounds of American eagle 55gr fmj. I got 500 AE and 1000 XM193 insted. I have never used this XM193. Is it normal to look so dirty, almost reloaded. The cases have marks that look like reloads and some have small dents and little black spots that come off with a little scrubbing. The box says LOT-107 and the brass says LC 05 just wondering if this is normal, The AE ammo looks great. I paid 221.00 deliverd for the 1500. If need be I can probably post pics on friday. Any help welcome. |

Go back to whoever you ordered from and tell him you're really working on your rifle skills and would like to place an order for another 20,000 rounds or so. And you might need more next week. Most here consider the XM193 among the top ammo available to the public. Current prices are around $250/1000 delivered and available from just a few sources. The American Eagle AE223 is going for around $220/1000 delivered. You paid the equivalent of $147.33/1000 delivered for excellent ammo. For reviews of the XM193 and the AE223 check Zhukov's Ammunition Review and Reference, posted in the tacked threads above. To compare prices check the Ammo Price List, also tacked above. |
