Found this:

www.snctec.com/html/en/products/ammunition-small.php, their web-site info, (drag over the product names for more info)

and this on a 1974 test of a Sig rifle:

"Also tested was Hirtenberger SS92 (M193) with a 55 grain bullet and Canadian IVI manufactured XM-287 using a 68 grain bullet"

Also found a comment stating that the brass used in this ammo has thinner walls than American made M193, for whatever that's worth.

May be of some help;

Mike

I ran across some IVI ammo in one of my ammo boxes. I think some of its in bandoleers. Think I got rid of most of it because the rumor was (after I bought it) that it was machine gun ammo and loaded to hot for AR's. This was back in late 80's or early 90's so don't remember to much about it.
