Other then the color of the box and shells. Anyone have any idea what the diffrence is?
Is the red box loaded to 5.56 spec and the black to .223?

Northwest loading has both.

the red box and black box are loaded exactly the same (.223) except that the black box(fpd) has the black nickel cases.

there is 5.56 red box but it's very hard to get unless your are LE
