i'm interested in starting to reload .223 ammunition.  what would i have to do and get? and how much would it cost?  thanks.

you can spend anywhere from $200 up to over a thousand.  

You will probably get more and better answers in the reloading forum

Actually LEE has an Aniversary Kit that contains everything for around $70-80 bucks, (bullets, powder and primers extra) which will get ya started on the cheap.

If ya think your serious though, the way to go is DILLION, (550B works for me).

Single stage anything is going to work you to death loading .223.  AR's are hungry bastards, and you will quickly lose interest if you have to spend too much time loading instead of shooting.  Go progressive from the start if your primary reason for reloading is .223.  I started off with a Lee starter kit and bought a Dillon 550B after the first 100 rounds.  Of course you probably won't listen, but my conscience is clear!
