I want to see some pics of you ammunition stores. I am proving to my friend that you guys are "crazier"  then I am (in a good way, he's a shooter too).As they say, a gun is nothing but an expensive club without ammo! I've got about 4K rounds. I'll post a pic later. I like to see cool pictures and day dream that someday I will have that much ammo.  |

Very few folks post pics of their stash as for most folks this type of thread falls under the heading of "Ya got NO need to know". I already looked at that thread and it isn't about pictures, some people posted pics but not a lot. Its a discussion about how much ammo you should have on hand at one time. There are threads about ARs and sometimes people will post a picture, but there are still "AR picture threads". So, even though I might be lazy, I wasn't being lazy in this particular instance. I don't understand what the big deal is about posting pictures of your ammo stores, I don't see how that is different from posting pictures of your guns. Some of you need to drink more often and let go of some of that paranoia. The thing about being "crazy" was a joke, my friend is into guns to and when he said that he was joking, I found it rather flattering actually.  I like being "crazy", it means that I am prepared and not one of the sheeple. Don't be so sensitive.Well, I am sure that there are some people who will see how an ammo picture thread would be cool and won't be dicks. I'll add my pictures later. |
Chill out! Who the hell do you think you are... the ar15 storable ammo president. The guy asked a simple question and reply with calling him lazy or inconsiderate for even asking? BTW - if everyone here used the search engine instead of asking questions then this board would be a very boring place. If you read the title and don't like it then just go to the next thread instead of bashing the person. It's not that hard to do. |
No it wouldn't. It would use of far less bandwith (saving the Avilias cash) and the rest of us wouldn't have to put with the same question every couple of days... If you want to 'chat' there is the GD section. |
OOPS I just realized this is the AR15 ammo thread...so...sorry I have no .223, nor a AR15...or ANY rifle in .223 haha....oh well...this is MY SHTF stash  heres a bit of what i got..its all i could fit in that area of my room haha...this is a older pic, so my SAR-2 and SAR-1s arnt in it..nor is the new Czech Mauser I picked up from AIM...along with the 500rnds 5.45 600rnds 7.62x39 (low on it) about 1600 7.62x54R 600rnds about of .303 750rnds 5.45 650rnds .308/7.62x51 1800 rnds 8mm

I agree that people should use the search function, however, it is SORELY lacking in function (unless I am missing something). You can't search the body of the posts only the subjects or Author. If it was changed, then people could get more information from the searches and not be forced to repost the same question over and over again. |

And unless your a Team Member the search function only allows within 30 days and a search within a select few boards. Speaking of being a team member, AR15.com would have a lot more subscribed members if it was'nt for the jerks who think anyone that has a post number lower than theirs deserves a good bashing for asking a simple question. We all started somewhere on our learning curve by asking questions, the very purpose of this forum. The search function is great at times but rarely answers the exact question you may have. The "newbie", "low post count", and "stupid question" bashing has gotten way out of hand on ARFCOM and unless the administrators put their foot down about it then they will undoubtably see a decline in their paid members and sponsors. It's the very reason i have'nt signed up yet. Bashing is nothing more than internet stupidity, people who probably don't know the answer to the question in the first place so they reply with a smarta$$ remark to contribute to the post and to raise their post count. Something they would never do in a FTF situation. |

I don't even know why this argument is still going on. Is anyone besides me aware that there isn't even a fucking ammunition stash picture thread to begin with, therefore it doesn't even fucking matter whether or not I used the search function? The thread in question, which supposudely was the same thread that I was trying to start, was about how much ammo you should have on hand at any given time, and there was a couple of people who just happened to post pictures. In fact, it was that thread along with some pictures that I have seen long ago on arfcom (which must be archived now) that inspired me to start this thread in the first place. Some of you vagina's need to learn how to read before you go fucking sabotoging threads. I did use the search function, in fact I manually went through the entire ar15/ammunition board, and the thread that I initially wanted to start before a couple of cry-babies fucked it up does not exist. As soon as I get my film developed and put on disk I am going to post pictures. Thanks to those who have contributed. |

But, I have learned to take in stride that there are always going to be people who don't have a real life except for the one they create on here.
