Are they really any different?  I always worked under the assumption that commie ammo was commie ammo.

Well...if you read the Ammunition Review & Reference tacked at the top of the Ammo Forum...you would know that Wolf polymer is rated higher than Silver Bear.  There's a lot of info there, all you have to do is read it.

I never tried the Silver/Brown Bear.

Time for some testing!

Shoot it up!

Its all crap but I would use the Wolf before any of the other crap.

I tried Silver Bear and the surface of the casing was rough to the point it would fail to extract on every 2nd round , or so.
I sanded almost 500 rds and put a very light coat of Remoil on them and I still get frequent failures to extract.
I can't believe all Silver Bear is like this, but be sure to check the exact ammo you are buying before you hand over your money.

My AR did not like the old lacquer coated Wolf much.

The new polymer coated Wolf functions great.

I have had only positive experience with Silver Bear.  Works all the time in RRA.  Haven't tried any of the others listed above.

I have tried both Wolf and Silver Bear.  No issues with Wolf.  One issue with Silver Bear - out of about 200 rounds I had one FTEx; the extractor took off the lip of the cartridge case, so I was done for the day.  Had to take it home, put a rod down the barrel and gently tap out the case.
