| Has anyone ever ordered the 1000rnds of lc from ammotogo on gun broker? It's $149 per 1000 and I have runn 1 lot through my RRA 20" with no ftf's.In the last batch I ordered there was only 1 badly dented case but it chambered and fired fine.I was just curious cuz it seems to be the cheapest I can find.Look at gb auction # 34438917 |

Looks like the same stuff here: www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=163183 How much did he charge for shipping? |
| This is probably the 5th post about this stuff I have seen. If it is from ammotogo it is remanufactored ammo from Dallas Reloading Supply. Lots of people use it and seem to like it. I have shot 1000 rounds of the stuff. Not one problem. Great for plinking. Some of the guys on the Texas Hometown board say they have shot upwards of 5000 rounds with not one problem. I plan on buying more. |

I've shot 1k rounds of this ammo through my Mak90 without issue. I did have about 4 rounds with severely dented case necks that I didn't shoot. My friend ordered 2k rounds of this ammo and he has had two instances where the cases split neatly in half ! Didn't make a kaboom out of his gun though. I think that he didn't inspect every round like I do and shot some of the dented ones. Good ammo in my opinion, but check every round for dents before they go into the mag . . . I spoke over the phone with ammotogo. They have the nicest customer service of anyone in the firearms industry that I have ever dealt with, hands down. |
The ammo is the 55 grn stuff from Dallas Reloading Co. It is good stuff, I have shot lots of it. I see them often at the Dallas gun shows and they have a commercial loading machine that they use to load the ammo with. Out of about 2500 round shot I have had 2 that gave me trouble. The neck of the case was damaged when it got crimped. Other than that its good for regular shooting. Its about 100 fps slower than q3131a but you cant tell them any difference when you shoot them together. |
