I just got some Wolf 7.62 x .39 for my new ak47 and was curious if they are polymer or lacquer coated (all '05 lots)?

Never heard of any problems with the lacquer in ak chambers but wanted to know if they switched over the 7.62 rounds to polymer as well.

Not a problem with the AK. You might have to clean it and it will get dirtier. But it will eat the wolf ammo like candy.

If the case of the round is gray, it is polymer coated.

If it's green, it is laquer coated.

Both will work fine in your AK. It sure does in mine.
