OK......I've heard a lot about wolf ammo and the way it smells. The only wolf I have used is the 7.62x39........and it smelled. What is it about the wolf ammo that makes it smell so much worse? Is it the laquer?

I'm not aware of any smokeless powders that are completely odorless on combustion.  I'm also not sure what folks find so offensive about the odor of Wolf vs. other brands.

No flames, but how does combustion odor relate to powder quality?  Put differently, how are you defining quality here?  Consistency, thermal stability, elasticity, clean burn, storage qualities are a few parameters (there are certainly others) that might warrant inclusion in a definition of powder quality.  I don't know that combustion odor would be a major determinant.  Why would you think so?

I have shot .223 and 7.62x39 Wolf, both the old stuff and the the new polymer stuff...I do not smell any unusually bad odors from it,although I think its a little dirtier.I like Wolf ammo.
