I was given a battle pack of ammo along with approximately 300 loose rounds in a zip lock bag. I was told that all of it is the same but haven't opened the battle pack yet. The only markings on the battle pack are: "400 Cartuchos 5.56 x 45 (NATO Cross) Ordinario" the only other markings is a label which states it is made in Spain. The loose rounds are stamped "SB 5.56x45 (NATO Cross)" and dated in mid to late 90's. It is a FMJ but not a green tip. Brass seems to be more polished than LC M193.

Does anyone know what this might be? Santa Barbara? Grain? Any good?

Any help is appreciated as I did a search but wasn't able to come up with anything definite.

Yes, Santa Barbara.

So even without the Green Tip it is still SS109? Would that be 62gr?

Yes and yes.

There is no foreign NATO stamped M193.
