Mine worked fine?? Looked good too??

I bought 1000 rounds from ammoman a few weeks back and just got to try some today. I loaded and inspected 120 rounds and dug through most of the box looking for bad ones....nothing. It all shot wonderful, with the only malfunction being user related. You know you cant put 31 rounds in a 30 rounder and it work? Came back home, reloaded 120 rounds, still nothing wrong with the rounds.

I know most of ya'll have bad feelings towards the PD rounds.. So did i get lucky or what?

I like the XM855PD I have just fine.  The XM193PD I had though was shit.  50 out of my 500 rounds were defective.  Needless to say, I returned it.

I've had only good batches of the XM855PD.  Excellent ammo.  Minor QC issues with the XM193PD, some of the bullets were seated deeper than others, but almost all appeared to be within the cannelure.  I found two that looked too deep for my taste.  The 855's were moe consistent

The last box I bought had around 1,020 rounds in it.  20 of the total rounds were really crappy.  That still left me with 1,000 decent rounds to shoot.  It was somewhat dissapointing to find those messed up rounds, but I doubt it would discourage me from buying another box if it was priced right.

I have found 5 rounds of Winchester 55 grain ammo mixed in so far, in my case of 1000 855pd.  I have had three rounds with bullets seated too deep, one crooked neck and one with a hole in the case itself, more like a cut.  I have only gone through a few hand fulls so far (200 rounds).  The Win rounds grouped fine, I don't know why they were in there though.    I got this case in december.
