| Who was the dealer down in Texas that had the Israeli surplus 5.56mm? Got a friend looking for it and KY imports is out. They sold two pallets to one person. |
I bought some of this and it wasn't real pretty but for plinking ammo it all went bang. However......................it was shipped in a cardboard box..........I called and they told me some BS story about the Mil can being too heavy and they would ship me one free if I paid for the shipping.............I declined................................. |
| I ordered a case and they told me they were down to about a dozen cases left. Im scratching my head why this stuff didnt get scarfed up quicker. I dont care what it looks like, 90's production IMI for $140 a case vs $219 plus for current production? Dont get me wrong I like the new stuff and had already ordered another case from ammoman but had I not I would have ordered 3 of the IMI stuff instead of one each. |

The link isn't working for me, but the likely reason is that it is not military ammo, but commercial ammo that is loaded lighter than M193 specs. It's good ammo, but it runs about 200 fps slower than M193. This is assuming you're talking about the stuff in the black boxes. -Troy |

I got my 1000 rounds last week and sorted out on Sat morning. Of the 1000, all was clean, 90's and 2000-'02 production. 850 were headstamped TZ or TZZ with the dates. 30 were marked TZ, dated but also had a Crosshair symbol on it. (Is this match ammo?) 80 were WCC (Winchester Cartridge Co?_about a dozen or so SS109 and, several 70's issue Lake City Production. Am I correct about the crosshair stamped rounds? Are they match ammo or perhaps target range ammo? |
I believe that stands for NATO spec ammo. |
