Is this ammo good quality and performance? Im trying to decide between Wolf and lake city 55-grain .223. But the Lake city is $100 and the Wolf is $60, so im leaning towards the wolf.  Will it be a good choice ammo to shoot in my new BM M4? _matt |
| If you're looking for burning/plinking ammo, get the wolf, if your looking for ammo that isn't underpowered, and actually performs as required on targets that breath, possibly for survival/SHTF use, get the lake city for the extra $40. You can reload the lake city too, but not the wolf. |
-------------------------- Actually, you can reload Wolf .223, and Wolf .45acp I've done it. Also the Steel cased Sellior&Bellot, all with good results. Whether you get hit with a 62gr Wolf or a 55gr LakeCity.....you are going to be out of the fight right away....gauranteed. One may not kill you and the other may....but you will be one hurting unit and stopped from continuing shooting at your opponent. |
