BH .223 Rem. 77gr SMK

BH .223 Rem. 75gr SMK

Hornady TAP AMMO 223 REM 75GR URBAN

I will be using this round for Coyote removal and target shooting.  I know that this is 2 different ends of the spectrum, but I want 1 round that I can use for both.  I've downed many a Coyote with Federal GMM 69gr SMK, but looking for something heavy for a little farther out and less wind drift.

It will be launched out of a 20", 1 in 8" twist barrel.

None of the above.

For varmints, you'd want something that fragments a little quicker. Try the Winchester 45gr JHP's - Winchester white box 40 round value packs at Wal Mart.

I agree with Z!  Coyotes are pretty thin.  And you shouldn't be shooting them anyway.  It's not nice.

I am a rancher.  Coyotes Usually only eat the afterbirth from a cow having a calf.  But, i've seen them trying to take down a newborn calf (pack of 5), until I removed 1 from their numbers.  So I shoot them and hunt them on our land whenever possible.

I find the BH 77 SMKs the most accurate, but have never tried them on Coyotes.

I was pretty sure you were just giving me crap, but just explaining never the less.

I've read the ammo oracle.  But, I was wondering as well how many of you out there have shot the remanufactured side by side with the new manufactured BH?  Comparable?

60 grain V-Max is good Coyote medicine.

For target shooting, any SMK would be great.

Can I come over and hunt them too?

Bryan/College Station.  Ranch is North of here 30 miles up Hwy 6.  Holidays are pretty busy.  But after first of year things slow down.
