Just got my 2000 rounds with ammo boxes of M855 from cabelas. Since I dont know when I will start shooting these, it is best to keep them in the original packaging, or should I put them in the ammo boxes. I plan to keep them in my garage. Thanks

I would keep it indoors, (climate controlled) then you won't have to worry about it...

I also notice this ammo is longer than what I was shooting ( 55gr) Is there more likely a chance to mis feed with the longer ammo? This just barely fits in the mags, but it does fit. Thanks
