A friend of mine has several boxes of this stuff and is trying to figure out where it came from/what kind of ammo it is. Any help wuold be greatly appreciated. The headstamp reads: NPA 01 5.56x45 Its boxer primed with green sealant around the bullet and he says it gives off a huge fireball from his M4. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? |

As far as I can recall, NPA is the headstamp for the infamous Olympic ammo... I guess it's left in ammo can for a good reason because they work worth crap. I ordered 1k about a year back, nothing but FTE... others have horror stories about blown primers too. Check Zhukov's ammo survey, I believe it's on the bottom of the list.
