Quoted: what company was selling this 2700 round tub of ammo Im interested in this Sportsman's Guide was advertising SA battlepacks late last summer, but the whole thing turned out to be kind of a hoax. Nothing ever appeared. As other more knowledgeable people have said - THERE WILL BE NO MORE BATTLEPACKS. |

Quoted: Quoted: If you're just plinking, you can get the new Wolf polymer coated stuff for around $100/1000 delivered. Who is carrying the polymer Wolf right now? I would like to try a box or 50. If you go after the ne wpolymer coated wolf watch out. I have run into a few dealers in my area that or trying to pass the lacquered ammo off as the "new Wolf" and not telling the customer that it is not the polymer stuff. I have been taken once this way. The two stores that I have seen doing this do not allow the ammo boxes to be opened. |
| I asked a Wolf dealer about it at a gun show yesterday and he said that he only had the older stuff right now, but the new stuff had a "P" added to the stock number on the case. Hard to believe that some dealers would mislead someone who would probably be a repeat customer!!!! Ya never know. |

Quoted: THE NEW CASES HAVE A [P] STAMPED ON IT Where exactly is the "P" stamped on the box. I have a few of the lacquered boxes and they DO have a "P" stamped with the lot number. Yes they are lacquered as the new poly ammo is silverish. Sorry to turn the thread into a wolf thread. |
