Saw winchester white boxes in gun store. On the side was marked M193 Q3115.

Anyone have any info on this stuff?

Boxes had 1984 on them. If I remember correctly.

White box. On front had Winchester M193. On side had Q3115.

Yes, this was Winchester's model/stock number for M193 in the early 90's.  Q3115 became Q3131 around 96, IIRC.

I bought a full ammo can, 800 rounds,of Q3115 in the mid 1980s with 1982 head stamp. It was made for the military and I wish I had bought alot more as I am down to just a few boxes. Best surplus ammo I have ever used, puts the new Federal M193 suff to shame.

Hummm I don't think he knows what he has. [:D]
I asked him about an 62gr SS109, and he looked at me like I was speaking French. [rolleyes]

Oh, PLEASE, Forest!  You want to see some memory demonstrations?  Give me call sometime and ask me some 80's music trivia...  [:)]

Besides, I have, somewhere, about 8 boxes of Q3115.
