Odd. Makes me wonder if they're closing out of the Wolf, in favor of the S&B stuff.

Call em, and make sure it's in stock before you order though. They'll sell out FAST of some stuff.

I wouldn't consider this to be a great price. It's about in line with what I would expect to pay for Wolf. I got a box of 1000 for sale at Midway USA for $96 a couple of weeks ago.

Any which way - low 100's is about the going rate for ComBloc ammo. DanAmmo has Barnaul for $110/1000 delivered east of the Mississippi.

You can pick up 7.62x39 for $80-90/1000 out the door at most gun shows. It's about the same price online. Never mind the old 8mm Mauser. They're practically giving that stuff away. Kind of makes me want to buy an old Mauser just for the ammo.

All the ComBloc stuff is steel cased of course. I don't know if they do brass at all. As far as the 8mm stuff - most of it looks brass cased, but I've never investigated since I don't have a rifle - I just noticed the cheap price.

I just picked up some 7.62x39 for $72 per and a few cases of Turkish 8mm at $70/1400rds.  The 8mm is so cheap that you should get some just in case you need it later.  Most all 8mm are brass except for the Romanian in 380rd spam cans.

If your talking .223 ammo I bought some Guatamalian(sp?) from Centuryit was $114 for a 1440 round case. Thats just under $0.08 a round. If your counting any cal then I bought some Turk 8mm Mauser ammo for just under $0.05 a round.
