Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 308 ammo help

I was at the local gun shop today and came across ammo cans containing 308 on 5 round stripper clips in bandoleers.  The only marking I could see was on the bottom of the case where it had AFF.  Is this the Australian surplus?  It looked like pretty decent ammo.  200 round can on striper clips for $50.00.
