Just bought 800 rounds of spanish santa barbra SS109 from sportsmans ,is this stuff any good Is it m855 rated,how does it compare to IMI SS109? It is suposed to be 90's manufacture.At 124 for 800 it seems like a good price.The 7.62x51 santa barbra I got was excelent that was 4 years ago 70's manufacture,and I ONLY HAVE 200 ROUNDS LEFT .I hope the ss109 is as good.

It runs about 100 fps shy of M855 spec, and when it was widely available a couple years ago there were reports of failure to extract in 16 inch and shorter rifles (rims ripping off). It is very accurate and functions perfectly in my 20 inch Colt.

SANTA BARBRA SS109 IS THE BEST SS109 I HAVE EVER SHOT TO DATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Better than my 1999 Batch of Lake City M855 and IMI M855 that I have!VERY ACCURATE
