For those of us that reload, whats the cleanest burning powder to use for .223 and 9mm that works good in full autos?

You might want to try asking this question in the Reloading forum.

I have gotten good results with AA2520 in 223 rem/5.56x45 and for 9x19 and 45acp I use many AA5.  Just before I came back over to Germany I went on a reloading bing and loaded 2000 rds of 45 using the AA5.  Quit reloading the 9mm after I broke two decapping pins.  Didn't want to leave all my primers and loose powder sitting in storage for 3 years.

Thanks Mikr. I'll look for it there.

The powder I'm using now (AA #7) is leaving lots of fouling and residue in my 9mm subgun. It starts jamming after shooting 4 magazines. I was looking for something cleaner.

AA-7 is a great 9x19 powder, 124's and 8-8.5gr will get things moving. Been using VV 3N37 and AA-5 for sub-sonic (147/150), though both are good for 124 and 147 loads.
