well i went to the range today.. and it started off with the rear sight of my mini falling off... anyone know where i can pick up a replacement? and well i was shooting.. and the damn ammo.. i say about of a box of 50.. between 15 and 20 failed to eject. you'd have to pull the action back so the spent casing would eject. got really annoying after awhile.

out of the 400 round i shot. 2 FTF. i never had this problem with the LC ammo. im wondering, is it the ammo, or is it my gun? do i need a new extractor already? :( should i take my mini to a gun smith? thinking it was the ammo.. i got some wolf. 20 rd box and only 1 failed to eject. all fired. i just dont know who to blame, the gun or the ammo?

I think it's your gun.

I've shot close to 2k rounds of the GP90 without a single problem.

Tatja has shot a GREAT deal more than that.

Sounds like it may be your rifle.  Clean the chamber extremely well, check the extractor, etc.

Hmmm.  I'm not sure.

Bear in mind that different guns like different ammo.  One carbine I have LOVES 69 grain SMK.  Another jams it up like crazy.  The carbine that hates 69 loves M193.  Go figure.

If GP90 isn't working, try selling it in the equipment exchange.  (Make sure to disclose that you aren't happy with it because it's malfunctioning in your weapon).  I have no doubt people will be happy to buy it at your cost.

If you bought the Swiss ammo from Ammoman.com, you can send it back for an exchange toward any other 223 item we have.
I will be glad to take yours out and shoot it up myself.[:)]

My rear sight met with an unfortunate accident, as well. I called Ruger and had them send me a new one. I have been looking for a decent after market sight to replace the el-cheapo rear sight that they put on the ranch rifles. Hope that helps
