| Just before I left the service in the late 90's the government was developing what they dubbed the "M118LR" to replace the M118 used by the MC for the M40A1 system. As good as the rifle was the M118 had the tendency of limiting it to 1 MOA and the new round was expected to drop that to near .5 MOA. I've been out of the game for sometime and was curious if anyone knows whether this took place. Perhaps they're using something altogether different by now. |
