[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ultramax?

Color me stupid, but this stuff has been running GREAT in my rifle. The cases all have Lake City stampings (w/ Nato insignia).. looks like year 2000 manufacture... been on sale dirt cheap in local Mega-sporting goods store.

Am I a fool for using it, or did I stumble across a good deal? (50 round boxes for $6.75)

I've used Ultramax before. It's not loaded to Mil-Spec velocities but it seems to be good reliable and clean plinking ammo.

BTW what store is selling the for $6.75/50?

Many PD's have had to threaten lawsuits to get Ultramax to take their ammo back. Very dirty and not loaded to milspec velocity..wont run m16"s worth beans....shoots like Wolf rejects..that is how bad !
