In looking at all of the info here, it appears the ejector is part of the Mean mag insert system and is plastic. How are the ejectors holding up after a few hundred rounds? Signs of wear?

Finally got mine in the mail. Put it together and it looks like with 1 round left in the mag it still actuates the bolt hold open paddle. Going to test it once I get home.

Good to see this posted here, I saw the vid on Facebook and was wondering. I'm planning a pistol build for a hatchback gun and couldn't decide upon 9mm or 300blk My next question is if a Guntec 9mm upper will work on a regular ar15 lower... View Quote Fit is good, bolt cycles, BHO works with a gen 2 mag, mil spec hammer works and function check is fine. Waiting on the endomags for firing. TYCOM |

Is there a source for "9MM" magazine rubber bands? I don't like the stickers.

So, not being a smart ass or anyhting......but why not just take a quick look at the top of the mags to tell what they are?

I ordered 3 in July and 3 in September. All six came in yesterday - the look good so far but have yet to mount them and try them.
By the way, they can go in a P-Mag (not ProMag) Gen 2 or Gen 3 - what is the difference in the Gen? |

I preordered mine on 9 August and haven't received a shipping notice yet. Waiting on them to complete my first 9mm AR build (4" Palmetto State upper).

When I buy celery it comes with blue rubber bands that size. If all you're worried about is keeping two types of PMags distinct, you would only need to put some sort of rubber band on one type, like "no band is 5.56, but orange rubber band means 9mm MEAN magazines." View Quote |

There are some non-AR's that can't take the mag with this stop, like my Beretta ARX100, so my idea was to just use gen3's for my 9mms, maybe even get tan, then use gen 2's for 223. At this point though, not even sure I'll use the 3pack, think I'll do my 45 first, so they're just going in the big box of parts. |

Well hopefully mine will get here soon. My order is from 8/7. I'm getting impatient.

Received mine last week. All fed and properly locked back with a Gen. 3 pmag. Will test next weekend (and then hopefully rid myself of my Colt/Guard & Glock/Guard modified mag blocks ).

Shipping may be slowed due to hurricane Michael. Keep that in mind fellows.

A shout out for MEAN's customer service. I sent an email explaining the issue with the one mag before I hopped in the shower. Before I got out I had a voicemail from Tom at MEAN Arms. Gonna get some pics to them and try another endomag in the magpul magazine body to see if it's possible that the magpul body is rolled.. Great customer service! View Quote Replacement EndoMag arrived in a week and has functioned flawlessy so far through 30 rounds. Will put more through it tomorrow. So far around 250 rounds through each of the original two EndoMags without any problems. |

I was out again today. I shot a total of around 250 rounds.
I shot 124 grain JHPs, 124 cast round nose, 124 cast truncated and 95 grain cast flat points. All shot 100%. I never loaded more than 29...typically between 25-29. Even ran perfect with my binary trigger. I am using M3 Pmags. Now I just need my other 2 that were ordered in a second order. Time to sell my glock block |

Ordered 8/1 and got shipping notice Saturday. Looking forward to trying them out.

Well, I gues I thought I ordered 2 more. Did some looking and it turns out the order never was placed, they were sitting in my cart.
Now they are ordered. I must have had a brain aneurism before finishing my order:) |

Ordered 8-3 Shipping notice 10-14 |

I can’t offer you any help, but I am willing to take the MEANS off your hands should you not be able to get them to work.

I assume it has the bent wire piece that is activated by the glock mag follower.
I would remove the wire and try....bet it works. |

The good thing is that the BHO should work with the endo mag.
Keep us posted! |

My upper has a similar LRBHO . I just removed the wire and put the cover back.

I'm a 9mm AR virgin and am still learning about them.
Will this Midway upper work with the MEAN adapters? I'm wanting to get in to the 9mm game just to play and shoot a little USPSA PCC. If there's a better unit then I'm also open to options. How about the PSA uppers? Mods, if this isn't appropriate to ask in this particular thread please delete it rather than locking the thread. Thanks for any info. If anyone wants some of these sooner I just put my 3 pack on the EE. Still new in the package. Just decided I don't have the time to mess with them, and my glock mag lower works fine for my needs.
