Is any one making a pencil profile or ultralight weight 14.5" or 16" 22LR, CMMG bcg compatable barrel?

I didn't see either a 16" or 14.5" on the taccom website.
Is this something I need to call about?

I could swear they used to.

The 17" barrel is the same length as a 5.56 16" barrel in the receiver.

The .22 chamber actually starts further inside the receiver.

Quite some time ago, CMMG sold 16" .22 LR, 1:9 twist rate, "pencil" profile barrels and complete .22 uppers.  Over on their forum in the Industry section they've been asked to bring the pencil .22 barrel back, to no avail.  I guess there's more money to be made in 6.5 Grendel.

MHO, YMMV, etc.

Cmmg used to make a pencil barrel dedicated .22 barrel for .22 lr.  This is mine.

Pencil profile .22 barrel - Not that I know of.

Ultralight weight .22 barrel - Taccom .22 ULW barrel  Probably should call Tim to find out when he will get them back in stock.  I've 4 of these in all lengths and they all are very good shooters.

I had my CMMG 22lr M4 profile barrel turned down to .545 and shortened 1.25"
Sometimes you have to do things yourself.
It cut 11oz off the barrel

Or you can call Clint Beyer at Beyer barrels. He makes ultralight barrels for the AR in different profiles. Super accurate too. Really lightens the weight and mine is as accurate as my cz 455.

Probably not as lightweight as a Beyer barrel.
I'd like to use one on my next 22lr build.

Got it together, I'm very happy with the way it feels.
Pinned and welded the flash hider for 16.2" length.
Still has a std buffer and spring in it and can be used on any of my other AR uppers.
