[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question About Buffer Tubes

So I assembled a 9mm pistol
PSA lower
Colts mags,etc....

I have the apps in for a can & to SBR this gun.
I've been told to use a carbine buffer tube with this set up when the stamp comes through.
Can I just purchase just the tube & use the same buffer & spring?
~~Who sells just the tube?~~ ETA: Looks like ALG, Brownells, & a host of others sell just the tube.
