I picked up a 6450, later production while they were still marked LE only.  It has some changes compared to the later 90's ones I have seen.  I am sure these changes were integrated over time - magazine block is held in with two roll pins compared to three of the older ones.  Magazines, while made by Metalform changed from parkerized to blued (still had metal follower, I understand later ones have plastic followers and made by C-Products).  Plastic stock changed from small to M4 style.  Push pin front pin from pin with screw head retainer and no detent on lower.  Later gun comes in a blue-label box with 2 32-rounders, older in green label box with 20 rounders.  Newer with generic AR manual for all calibers, no cleaning rods.  Older came with 9mm specific manual and cleaning rod sections.  Anchor forge marking on upper (with C for Colt still, just has the addition of the Anchor Forge marking).  Outside of those markings, everything else still the same - script on the roll marks, finish on the gun itself.

Anyone else have any thoughts or observations on the changes over the years?

I'm in the process of putting together an early 6450. I'd love to see a close up photo of the right side.
My questions all pertain to early models.
Port door - A1 or A2 ? With or without gas deflector
Pistol grip- The mark on the inside, a number in a circle or "letter and number " in an oval ?
Thanks

Three in an oval, it's an "LTA" so it's not an early gun.  "TA"'s have always been out of my price range, they seem to have been $2,500 for the last fifteen years.
