In about 200 rounds of 115gr WWB or Federal, I've only had 1 FTF. However when I tried WWB 147gr JHP (crap, I know, but had a box in my safe) or IMI 158gr subsonic, I have a FTF every 2 or 3 rounds. Has anyone else had problems with these types of ammo, or is it possibly something else such as the barrel feed ramp? The jhp were clearly getting stuck on the feed ramp and damaging the mouth of the round. I'm not too concern about those, but I was disappointed about the IMI fmj.

Here's my build:
Cmmg dedicated 9mm lower
Cmmg bcg
Mvb stock with their 9mm buffer
Mas defense 9mm side charging upper
Ballistic Advantage 5.5" 9mm barrel
Psa (metalform) mags
AAC Ti-rant 45m

Are you having failure to feed or fire problems?
If you are having feed issues, are they stove piping?
What buffer and spring?

I had a lot of fail to feed problems with the BA 9mm barrel I had. I swapped it for a faxon barrel and it's gotten a lot better. Shot about 100 rounds yesterday and had one ftf on the last round of a mag.

I also switched to a heavier 10oz buffer and I think that helped as well

do what everyone has done, including myself, and send it to macon armory.

Mad Machinist will take care of you and doesn't over charge for his services like some people in the firearms industry.

This OP. Also, what trigger?

Failure to feed - Rounds look like they are getting hung up on the feed ramp.

As for the buffer and stock, I have an MVB Arc stock. It's a short buffer that uses 2 springs. The buffer is proprietary, I think it's 5.3 oz. I could weigh it tomorrow to confirm.

Trigger and the rest of the LPK is Spikes.

Thanks

147 and 158s are subsonic, you probably on have to goto a lighter buffer when running them.

The system, including the buffer, was designed to run on supersonic 124gr NATO rounds.

Pretty sure I can correct the feed issue if you'd like to send me the barrel.
