I have a PSA 16" barrel on my AR-9 build. The barrel shoots o.k. but it has a tight spot in the bore where the barrel contour changes (where a gas block would be). I purchased two barrels (one for a friend) and both barrels have the same tight spot. It is a good barrel for $99.00.
What 16" barrels are out there that would be better quality? |

What do you mean by tight spot? It seems counterintuitive for a barrel to have a tight spot unless it has sustained damage. A pair with the same issues seems even more unusual. If they were my barrels, I would not be saying they were good barrels at any price. I'd be sending them back asap. JSE has some good 9mm barrels. Spinta has had periodic sales if you aren't in a hurry. |
