Is it dimensionally different that any other forged AR15 lower ??
Then why wouldn't it work ??

And FWIW....for the price of a hahn magblock, you could just buy a dedicated 9mm lower.

With a Colt style mag block and mag it would look like a skull shaped Pez dispenser.

I'm not a fan of the Jack lower, overpriced and pretty tackey for an AR lower.

No reason it wouldn't work though.

I purchased a Spike's Calico Jack lower intending to install a mag well adapter last November. The mag well was too tight to fit it in. I ended up installing the adapter in an Anderson lower. The Spike's lower also had an issue with the machining where the safety selector does not line up properly. Instead of pointing straight up at 12:00, it looks more like 11:55. I had a Spike's lower a couple of years ago that was the same way. If you are set on getting an adapter instead of a dedicated lower, you might want to get the adapter first and take it with you when you go shopping for the lower.

That's the "Calico Jack" like you said. OP was asking about "The Jack" which is actually a milled in 3D skull as the mag well.

This with a Colt mag sticking out the base of the skull would look like a Pez dispenser.

I had no idea something that ugly even existed. Probably won't be buying one.

Not only is it extremely ugly it is also insanely overpriced. Typically over $300 for just that stripped lower.

That's an awful lot of money for a little head. I think I'll just stick with Rosie.
