I have the PSA (colt mag) lower on order. i plan on building a pistol, but could also do a rifle....dependent on the expectation of accuracy.
So with a 9mm build, if i wanted good groupings at 50yrds, what length barrel do I need? I may or may not get a suppressor for it later. I assume that with a can I need a shorter barrel though. |

There is a great thread here in the last 6 months where a user did some scientific accuracy testing. Look for it. I'd link it but I'm on my phone.
I have a 1. Relatively new build with a 10 inch barrel (SBR). 2. Inexperienced shooter 3. Red dot, non magnified 4. Good ammo. I can put rounds in about 1 inch at 25 yards if I do my part. I'm sure someone better (hell, just about anyone else) can do the same or better. |

I run a 5.5" Ballistic Advantage barrel and get fist sized 10 shot groups off had with Federal red box 115 FMJ and a Vortex Razor Red dot at about 35-40 yds |
