I have a 9mm CMMG bolt on one of my builds, but it never cycled very well, with failure to eject. I tracked it down to the extractor was grabbing the side of the case, rather than the rim. So the case just pushed forward when it hit the ejector, rather than pivoting and flying off sideways. So the roll pin hole was slightly out on the extractor, and too much metal was required to be filed out to make it work - tto weak and now bending.
Can I replace it with any brand extractor? If so, which ones are good? |
