I have some converted mags that run great until the last 2 or 3 rounds. any suggestions??

Could also be rough machining for the AR magazine catch is snagging the follower - check and make sure the followers move freely.

I went to shoot the gun for the 1st time and had several FTF w/ the first 1 or 2. the rounds would sit in the mag "nose down" , then it would run great (usually) for the next 10 rds or so then the last 2-5 rds would start hanging up. I'm gonna order new springs tomorrow as I hope this will cure the issues.
