Let me start by saying I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!

Now to my issue...

I built a pistol in 556 last year and it seemed to run alright, a couple light strikes here and there etc. This year I pulled it out if the safe and it will only fire one round then a light strike. I tried 3 different ammo types and it was all the same.

It has a RRA bcg and a PSA fire control group. It also has a carbine buffer and spring.

Any ideas would greatly appreciated, thanks guys, and have a good weekend.

The intuitive thing I would try is a different or heavier (Wolff extra power) hammer spring.  Another thing to check first however is to make sure the legs of the hammer spring are resting on top of the trigger pin and not angled underneath resting on the bottom interior of the lower.

You might get better info on the AR Pistols forum (this is pistol/rimfire calibers =)

Thanks man. I'll move it over there, I typed this out on my phone and must not have read the forum heading correctly!
