Is there anyone other than DDLES that makes a lower with a smaller magwell. Call me a prude, but I cannot stand the large AR opening with the tiny stick mag poking out.
Thanks all |

Just order the DDLES lower! I ordered mine not too long ago and got it 30 days later. You won't regret it. 30 days!?!?!? Looking at the thread on this site and their website, it looks like 90+ days is what I'm looking at. I can do a month, but 3 months for a lower and no timeline on a BCG is insane..... that said, I may just have to do it :( |

Well, I bit the bullet and bought a MK-9 complete lower. Wasn't going to wait 4 months for the DDLES with Summer coming up, and wasn't going to pay the insane re-sale prices people wanted for them (does that come with lube?)
I have kind of a crazy idea though... I do not have lower in hand yet, nor have I talked to anyone at CMMG, but here's my idea: Could I take the lower to the local machine shop and have them mill out what appears to be the "solid" portion of the magwell and then radius out to support the front hinge pin area? It would make it similar in appearance to the DDLES. What I don't know is if that section of the magwell is actually solid? |

I don't think I've seen any other than DDLES. Are there any 80% lowers with a small magazine well? I got an email back from Tactical Machining regarding plans for a 9mm 80 percent lower. They said they were planning on it until recent events forced them to sideline it. Maybe next year they said. |
