| Guys I put a slash 11 oz heavy buffer and wolf spring in my 9mm AR. All I can say is awsome. Man he makes some nice stuff. My rifle runs smooth could hardly tell the bolt was moving. Just letting you guys know. John |

Just to add to this, I disassembled my buffer today since I'm having it coated with Nickel Boron. Upon disassembly, the interior has six weights stacked on top of each other. So if you find your weapon is performing a little too sluggish, you can easily replace a few of the weights with a derlin spacer. Basically, this buffer gives you the ability to customize your buffer weight far beyond the capacity of most buffers.
Each weight weighs about 1.5 ounces. So you can adjust up to 8.4 ounces since the Derlin spacers weigh in at 0.1 ounces each. 11.5 -- Six Tungsten Weights 10.1 -- Five Tungsten Weights, One Derlin Spacer. 8.7 -- Four Tungsten Weights, Two Derlin Spacers. 7.3 -- Three Tungsten Weights, Three Derlin Spacers. 5.9 -- Two Tungsten Weights, Four Derlin Spacers. 4.5 -- One Tungsten Weights, Five Derlin Spacers. 3.1 -- Six Derlin Spacers. I also have some other spacers from Slash that are cast metal or lead maybe, they weigh in at 5/8 of an ounce. So you can really dial in a perfect weight for your loads. |
