I have a standard upper, a CMMG Bolt, CMMG Barrel and have a revolution hand guard on order.
The upper is one I have had in the safe, just sitting around. it isn't a complete upper, as in, It has no dust cover nor a forward assist assembly. For shooting .22 with the CMMG kit. Do I NEED a forward assist button or can it run without? I plan on getting it, just curious.... |
| You would maybe get some blowback through the open hole that may not be pleasant. If you are not going to use the Forward assist block they sell you can just put one of the fake dummy plugs in there. I may have one of the CMMG plugs and it is yours for free if i can find it. We removed it and put in a actual functioning one..Will PM if I can find it.. Should not be a problem to shoot till you get it plugged up. Wear safety glasses as usual. |
