Right now I am running a cmmg dedicated upper. Would ths be a good addition to it? Today is the first time I am reading about this kit and the pressure plug.
I haven't shot my upper a whole lot so haven't experienced many problems. The only problem I did have was it seemed like the the trigger didn't reset a few times. I would fire a shot empty ejects go to fire next shot and trigger is not reset.

My opinion of the Reliability Kit is everyone should have one in the Atchison type conversion. It solves many issues including light strikes.

Thanks. You have any experience with the trigger  not resetting? Also it looks like the Taccom firing pin is longer. Do I need to worry about dry firing?

That is a diffrent issue.

What kind of trigger are you running..

And a plus 1 for Taccom  reliability kit...Big improvement

With the TACCOM firing pin set up according to the enclosed instructions that come with the kit, there is no reason why you couldn't dry fire the insert.

When you say insert. Do you mean a conversion kit or is it the same with a dedicated upper? Thanks

Check your disconnector and trigger spring...   They might be backwards or out of place.   See the thread below for my issue:

Also, posted an IM for Tim about the kits.   My pin does not protrude beyond the face of the bolt without shims, so I think I am GtG.    But, I asked the question to make sure!

The firing pin can be set back from the bolt face .010-.015, so try the shims....if you get light strikes, take them out
