nix the coated bolt and get the stainless. you will thank me later. Too late... Ordered the bolt from PSA the other day. Run it wet and be prepared for inconsistent feeding problems until it's broke in. Have to agree here––I would suggest you just return it to PSE, take whatever hit you have to, and get the stainless. Why they even make the non-stainless anymore is beyond me. Just not worth the hassle. |

Is the CMMG conversion kit going to work with the 22lr CMMG barrel? The bolt looks like it has a chamber adaptor on the end of it. Does that part come off or is the 22lr barrel designed to still use it? The chamber adapter comes off and can be replaced with a barrel collar. When I bought my barrel, it came with the collar. -bob |
