Have any of you guys who have installed the forward assist mod actually had to use it?

I have used it. I had a couple of mags that would drag on the bolt and slow it down so it wouldnt chamber the round. Hit the FA and you are good to go. I have fixed the mags so no more issues.

If it don't fit force it?
I can't see forcing an OOB discharge.
