Not sure if this is the right place, but who's tried more than 1 different conversion unit, and which shot most accurately, most reliably? I'm leaning toward the CMMG. I realize different ammo will make a difference. And BTW, has anyone used the Aguila SSS Sniper Subsonic Ammo in one. With the 60 grain bullet it needs a faster twist than the normal 1:16 .22. I have a 1:9 RRA. Will that work?

I have a ciener conversion that has been polished quite a bit with Flitz to make it smooth..  It runs very well, but is never 100% - but I think that is due to .22 ammo being not the best..  No matter what ammo I use (federal bulk pack or CCI stuf) I always end up with a few fail-to-fire the first time..  Also it seems that ammo is not consistently accurate - i seem to get flyers every so often

Here are some pics of my set up and the SSS ammo...   this was about 40 yds in a dedicated upper that is using a 10/22 barrel

SSS is good in the 1:7" to 1:9" twist....

I shot the SSS 60 gr. through a 1/8 7.5" barrel using a CMMG India converstion. All rounds stayed on a 3/4" stick on dot at 25 yards.
