[ARCHIVED THREAD] - .22lr upper post ban?

I can't seem to find a dedicated .22lr upper that is post ban. Are their any companies currently making post ban .22 uppers?

I wanted to go with a 20" CMMG upper but it doesn't look like I can get a post ban one.

Any Ideas?

DPMS has a 16" Bull barrel that would qualify. No FH or threaded barrel.
I should be getting a test model for review Monday. I'll be posting my findings.

I thought dpms discontinued their .22lr upper. It's not listed on their website.

I thought you could get CMMG to set you up with a post ban .22 upper. But, call them directly to find out.

Oh, move out of that Commie state...here in Kentucky, land of Danial Boone , we don't have all those crazy rules.

It's a new design. That is why I'm reviewing it.
Like John said, contact CMMG. They may have an option for you.

I'm working on getting out of here... I leave for Fort Benning in March. I just pray to the Army gods that they station me somewhere with very little gun control.

Thanks for the help guys. I will call CMMG on Monday morning to see if I can place an order.

TP,

JoJo's in Southington will pin a brake to your bbl.
I put a Miculek on my CMMG .22. As crazy as it sounds, it really helps. Not that a .22 had difficult to manage recoil, but with the brake, the sights don't move off the target at all.
